John has been with Crosslin for 20 years and serves as Co-Managing principal. Prior to joining Crosslin, John worked in the Nashville office of a Big Four firm.

John has directed the audits of companies in a variety of industries, including not-for-profit, government, retail, manufacturing, distribution, publishing, and business services.

In his role as audit principal-in-charge, he is responsible for the overall health and growth of the department, including new business development, scheduling and assignment for the department’s team members, and assuring quality delivery of service to the firm’s clients.

John is a member of the Board of the United Way of Metropolitan Nashville and the United Way’s Tocqueville Society, where he has served on the committee for the Next Generation new membership recruitment. He served as a co-chair of the 2015 Alpha Chapter Campaign Cabinet. John also is a past member of the Board of Directors for the Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee, participating in both the Finance and Development Committees.

In addition, he serves on the Board of Directors of the Music City Youth Orchestra, where he is treasurer, and the Crosslin Community Service Committee. He belongs to the Nashville Striders running group and held a seat on the Montgomery Bell Academy Alumni Board.

John has been named to the CPA and NSA Practice Advisor’s 40 Under 40, a national honor that reflects contributions to the field of public accounting by individuals under the age of 40. He was also a recipient of both the Nashville Emerging Leader Awards in the business services category and the Nashville Business Journal’s 40 under 40 honor. He was named a Power Leader in Accounting in 2015, 2016, and 2017 by the Nashville Business Journal.
